Job Description
Role – Mechanical Design Engineer
Location – Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 8.30am – 5pm
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary – Up to £40,000 per annum
Our client is a well-respected manufacturer who is currently looking to add to their drawing office with a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Main duties will include –
Generation of detailed manufacturing drawings for internal and external production
Creation of bill of materials for special product and procurement as required
Creation to overall design and assembly drawings to define customer specifications
Customer liaison to ensure the smooth production process
Liaising with all departments to ensure delivery times are met and upheld
Continuous improvement of existing product range.
Candidate attributes –
A sound background in mechanical engineering, with good knowledge of mechanisms, fabricated assemblies and sheet metalwork
