Responsibilities
- Realizes overview diagram and time cycle of an automatized process.
- Performs conceptual and detailed design of new equipment or modifications to existing engineering.
- Selects raw materials based in their characteristics and application needs.
- Writes mechanical functional analysis and design calculation notes.
- Applies safety, ergonomics and environmental principles during design development.
- Selects the different parts such as actuators, sensors, and others commercial parts.
- Design metallic and plastics materials machined parts optimized for feasibility and price.
- Develop mechanical 3D assembly design and drawings.
- Provides support during assembly, debugging, calibration, qualification, and production run‑up with electrical and automation engineer.
