Qualifications: A degree in Mechanical Engineering – B. Tech, B. Eng or BSc Eng A minimum of 6 years in metallurgical/industrial plant design is desirable Valid Passport for international travel purposes Own vehicle + valid driver’s license Duties & Responsibilities Metallurgical (Process) plant layouts & designs, generation of BOM components and scope of work documents Preparation of proposals in the Metallurgical Plant or equipment supply industries Produce clear and concise Engineering input, assumptions, and calculations Attend Site visits Produce technical reports Knowledge of performing FEA on plate work and mechanical components Create detailed plans, drawings, and specifications to translate the conceptual design into actionable steps Monitor and oversee the design, implementation or construction phase...
