Job Description


SUMMARY:
Lexdan Select is assisting an Engineering consultancy business with their search for a Mechanical Engineer. Based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical building services and water/wastewater infrastructure systems.
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, including contract administration.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and Bills of Quantities.
  • Conduct site inspections, ensure quality control, and resolve technical issues.
  • Act as the Engineer’s Representative during construction.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and the professional team.
Minimum Requirements
  • B.Eng / B.Sc(Eng) / B.Tech Eng in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
  • 2–5 years postâgraduate
  • Proven building services project experience
  • AutoCAD (mandatory)
  • Revit MEP (advantage)
