Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer is a pivotal member of a regional engineering organization, dedicated to leading and supporting capital projects across various manufacturing plant locations in North America. This role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered punctually, within scope, and on budget.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and support capital projects and plant upgrades involving both basic and detailed design.
+ Specify machinery and utilities, estimate equipment costs, and develop capital appropriation.
+ Select and manage suppliers, oversee equipment installation, and manage startup processes.
+ Provide hands-on engineering support for manufacturing and maintenance operations.
+ Design, fabricate, install, and optimize production machinery, utilities, and industrial pipework systems.
+ Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
