Summary This vacancy is for a GS - 0830 - 13, Mechanical Engineer located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SILC-FDCC-PROJECT EXECUTION BRANCH in NORFOLK, Virginia. Responsibilities You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer and be responsible for serving as a senior Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer and technical specialist responsible for procuring, coordinating and managing the design and construction related services provided by Architectural/Engineering firms. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Coordinating project planning and team resources for multi-phase projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget.
