Job Description
About the role:
SMITECH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support site execution, technical coordination and project delivery for a major M&E construction and infrastructure project in Singapore.
This role will work closely with the M&E Manager, project team, consultants, subcontractors, BIM/QS/QAQC/WSH teams and client representatives to coordinate mechanical building services works, resolve technical issues and ensure timely execution on site.
This project role is to be based on site on a 5.5-day work week.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise mechanical works including ACMV, mechanical ventilation, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection, pumps, pipework, plant equipment and related M&E systems.
- Review construction drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, ITPs, MSRA and technical documentation.
