Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities ​​

+ Work under the guidance of Waltonen Chief Engineer

+ Develop designs for subsystems, components, and mounting provisions for various devices.

+ Design subsystems and components related to hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, mechanisms, shock isolation to meet vehicle requirements

+ Perform analysis of design and be able to apply engineering judgment in material selection, welding, and fabrication for mechanical components and complex welded brackets, mounting provisions

+ Create drawing mark-ups, conduct tolerance stack analysis, and generate source data for engineering changes

+ Provide technical support during prototype and production vehicle builds

+ Work closely with Waltonen’s Design & Engineering teams to create impactful solutions for military vehicles
