Job Description
Job Responsibilities Assist engineers and project managers in mechanical works at construction sites. Respond promptly to equipment breakdown requests as instructed by the supervisor. Inspect, install, test, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment. Carry out troubleshooting and fault analysis for mechanical and hydraulic systems. Perform scheduled and periodic maintenance inspections of equipment. Repair and recondition mechanical and hydraulic components as required. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to project requirements and safety standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers on mechanical installations. Keep the immediate supervisor informed of work progress, results, and any issues or potential problems, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
