Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Type: Permanent
Basic: up to £38,000 Mon‑Fri
Location: St Helens, Warrington, Runcorn, Merseyside
We are recruiting for a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer based in the Warrington or St Helen’s area covering the maintenance of circa 15 sites. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including basic plumbing, plant room HVAC, compliance etc.
The role is a permanent position paying up to £38k basic
Mon‑Fri 40 hours per week
Local work/travel
Plenty of overtime (paid at x1.5 / x2.0)
On‑call TBC
25 days holiday plus statutory holidays

Responsibilities
- Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to mechanical plant rooms
- Pumps and valves
- Plumbing maintenance
- Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
- Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temperatures
- Small works installation
