Job Description
**What You'll Do**
This role is part of the Goodyear Global Manufacturing Engineering team and focuses on mechanical design, equipment layout, component selection, prototyping, troubleshooting, and production support for manufacturing automation, machinery, tooling and facility equipment. Perform engineering calculations, create technical drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and supplier to ensure equipment reliability, safety and cost efficiency.
Automation System Support & Integration
+ You will design mechanical components, assemblies, jigs, fixtures and automation machine structures.
+ You will create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings with CAD software; follow GD&T and company standards.
+ You will prepare BOM, part specifications and engineering documentation.
+ You will support new production line installation, commissioning and mechanical setup.
