MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
Location : South East England
Contract Type : Permanent or Freelance / Contract
Salary/Rate : Competitive salary or day rate (DOE)
GRS are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to work on high–value MEICA water projects across the South East. You'll join a Tier 1 contractor delivering key infrastructure upgrades for UK water authorities under major capital delivery programmes (e.g. AMP8).
Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical installation works across water treatment and pumping station projects
- Coordinate designs, site works, fabrication drawings, and subcontractors
- Ensure mechanical scopes are delivered on time, to spec, and within budget
- Interface with electrical and ICA teams to ensure integrated MEICA delivery
- Attend site inspections, FATs, commissioning, and handover activities
