About the role
This permanent full-time role reports to the Engineering & Reliability Superintendent and plays a critical part in ensuring the availability and optimum operation of static equipment assets at Yara Pilbara.
What you’ll do day-to-day
- Provide mechanical engineering support for plant equipment
- Analyse equipment failures and lead root cause investigations
- Optimise preventive maintenance strategies and tasks
- Support daily maintenance activities and planning
- Develop repair methodologies for major repairs of static equipment such as storage tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, piping systems, and structural supports
