Our client, a leading aerospace component repair specialist, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join their Cargo Bay team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual to develop their career within a growing aviation engineering environment.
Mechanical Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
* Inspect components and identify repair and replacement requirements
* Disassemble, clean and prepare aircraft cargo nets, webbing and seat restraint systems for maintenance
* Carry out repairs and replace worn or damaged parts in accordance with approved procedures
* Reassemble components to required quality, safety and performance standards within agreed timescales
* Interpret and follow technical manuals, drawings and maintenance publications
* Accurately record all maintenance activities in compliance with Part 145 regulatory requirements
