Function Engineering Facility Position Mechanical/Electrical Artisan | 3 months Fixed Term Contract Introduction

An opportunity exists for a Mechanical/Electrical Artisan – 3 months Fixed Term Contract at Life Rosepark Hospital, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring continuous availability of Mechanical and/or electrical services as well as air-conditioning and Building Maintenance required for the Hospital infrastructure.

Critical Outputs
  • General mechanical repairs and installations to ensure operation and reliability of hospital equipment

  • Ensure operation and reliability of mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements

  • Maintain daily preventative maintenance on all medium and high-risk equipment, medical gasses, vacuum pumps, medical air compressors, autoclaves, generators, etc
