RecQuest is supporting a respected and forward thinking law firm in recruiting a Mediation & Litigation Assistant. This is a varied, client focused role offering exposure to both mediation and litigation, ideal for someone looking to grow within the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a warm and professional first point of contact for client enquiries.
- Explain the mediation process and handle client questions, often by phone.
- Coordinate appointments, manage correspondence, and oversee logistics.
- Complete conflict checks, prepare quotations, and take initial instructions.
- Support client communication throughout mediation and assist with Legal Aid administration.
- Set up, maintain, and close electronic legal files to LEXCEL standards.
- Conduct supervised research and gather case information.
- Draft letters and documents, support billing, and assist with audits.
