***This position will have blended MA and PSR duties***
Required Qualifications:
"2 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
"Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
"HSD/GED
"Flu vaccination (no exemptions/no declinations)
"BLS (AHA or ARC only)
"Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
"Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
Job Duties:
"Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record
"Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data
"Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice
"Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs
"Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines
"Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications ...
