Job Description
* At least 1 year phlebotomy experience required * Keyboard/data entry experience * Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials * Phlebotomy: 1 year (Required) Responsibilities * Perform blood draws and collect specimens as required * Explain specimen collection process to patients clearly and courteously * Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes for accuracy * Review and confirm physician orders and test requisitions * Ensure 100% accuracy when checking specimen labels and requisitions * Update patient information in the system * Store specimens according to required conditions and temperature * Package specimens for transport to the lab * Follow infection control and safety protocols
