UPMC is hiring a Medical Assistant, Senior to support Shadyside Dermatology located at 580 South Aiken Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15232. This Monday through Friday daylight position offers a consistent schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. In this role, the Medical Assistant, Senior will play a key part in delivering high-quality patient care by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and preparing patients for examination. Responsibilities also include cleaning and stocking exam rooms, assisting providers during procedures as needed, managing prescription refills and prior authorizations, and triaging patient phone calls to ensure timely and appropriate follow-up.
