A healthcare professional is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Ophthalmic assistant to join their practice. The role will involve working between the Stellenbosch and Somerset West locations, supporting both clinical and administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the practice and excellent patient care.Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm
Responsibilities:
Provide patient education based on diagnosis and treatment plans.
Perform comprehensive eye examinations and visual tests according to patient medical history.
Type and send reports to service providers.
Assist with in-room procedures.
Follow clinical protocols, ensuring all equipment is sterile and practice hygiene standards are maintained.
