Job Description
The Medical Assistant supports a single physician by providing comprehensive clinical care to a high-volume panel of adult and geriatric patients. This role includes performing full patient workups, obtaining detailed medical histories, taking manual vital signs, drawing blood, and reconciling medications for a primarily 55+ and underserved patient population. The Medical Assistant plays a key role in ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality, compassionate care throughout the clinic day.
Responsibilities
+ Room approximately 18–22 patients per day for one physician, maintaining steady and efficient patient flow.
+ Perform full patient workups, including collecting comprehensive previous medical history and current health concerns.
+ Obtain accurate manual vital signs and document findings clearly and promptly in the medical record.
