Overview
We are looking for a Medical Billing & Appeals Specialist to assist with appeals submission for denied claims and support day-to-day billing operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational billing knowledge who is eager to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and submitting appeals for denied medical claims
- Review EOBs and error codes to understand claim denials
- Support accurate use of CPT and ICD codes under guidance
- Assist with claims processing related to workers’ compensation carriers
- Help with other billing and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of medical billing and appeals processes
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD codes
- Ability to review EOBs and denial/error codes
- Good written communication and typing skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
