Job Description
The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of the clinical, regulatory and administrative responsibilities surrounding living donation for liver transplant. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates should be board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and in Transplant Hepatology. Rank will commensurate with experience.
Teaching responsibilities may include outpatient precepting of transplant hepatology fellows and internal medicine residents in primary hepatology clinics (variable frequency) as well as inpatient teaching service attending and/or consult service that includes direct supervision of transplant hepatology fellows, gastroenterology/hepatology fellows, internal medicine residents, interns an...
