Atlantic Health System, is seeking a per-diem Medical Dispatcher I (Call Taker) to work for Ambulance part of Atlantic Health System.
The Atlantic Mobile Health Dispatcher I is an integral part of the Emergency Medical Services Department supporting BLS Transport, MAV & Critical Care Operations. The dispatcher is responsible for the intake and processing of all transport requests and scheduling transports and appointments to meet the patient and customers’ needs through superior communication and customer service skills. The dispatcher will utilize multiple phone lines, six computer screens and wall monitors containing information ranging from Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems, billing systems, payment collection screens. Coordination with Dispatchers, Hospital Liaisons, Clients, Patients, Customer Service Coordinators, Social Workers and Hospital Staff in the region to assure safe operations and collaboration and the necessary logistical support for the mission.
