SUMMARY/DUTIES:
- Supports a high-volume medical imaging department by managing inbound calls, scheduling patients, and coordinating imaging services across modalities including X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, and bone densitometry
- Responsible for work queue and incoming order management, patient registration, insurance verification, and authorization processing
- Conducts outbound calls to reduce scheduling backlog and improve patient access
- Provides instructions to patients, gathers required documentation, and coordinates prior imaging retrieval
