Job Description
A specialist Gastroenterology practice based at Morningside, Sandton is seeking to recruit a Practice Manager / Practice Administrator to oversee operational, billing, and patient coordination functions within a busy procedural private practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the clinical team and external service providers to ensure efficient workflow, accurate billing processes, and a high standard of patient care.
Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Manage consulting diaries, procedure bookings, and theatre scheduling
- Coordinate endoscopy and theatre lists with hospitals and anaesthetists
- Schedule consultations, follow ups, urgent appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling
- Confirm appointments and patient pre procedure requirements
- Manage patient communication via phone, WhatsApp, email, and online platforms
