Job Description
Job Summary:
Offering an exciting opportunity to join our Radiology Department in an outpatient setting with responsibilities in General Radiography, Dexa and OR.
+ Under supervision of administrator and staff accurately reads and interprets physicians orders.
+ Prepares patients for radiological procedure by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
+ Practices ALARA by minimizing radiation to patient and staff by collimation, patient shielding and exposure factors.
+ Operates a C-arm in the OR and has knowledge of sterile techniques.
+ Coordinates patient flow, reviews images for diagnostic and technical quality. Demonstrates knowledge of a PACS, RIS and EMS operating systems.
+ Checks equipment for proper functioning.
+ Performs QA and calls for repairs/maintenance as per manufactures guideline. Follow policies and procedures of SU...
