Associate Research Scientist - Membranes
Responsibilities
- Lead research on advanced sustainable functionalized membranes for desalination, water treatment, sewage water treatment, and purification applications.
- Develop novel membrane materials for antifouling hybrid ultrafiltration membranes and antibacterial nanofiltration or reverse osmosis membranes.
- Explore and optimize advanced membrane fabrication techniques to improve separation performance, sustainability, fouling resistance, and antibacterial behavior.
- Correlate fabrication methods, membrane structure, material properties, and filtration performance using rigorous experimental design and analysis.
- Use advanced characterization tools such as SEM, AFM, Raman, TEM, DSC, XRD, FTIR, TGA, BET, and related analytical techniques.
