Mental Health Helpline Counsellor

Job Description

To work within a mental health crisis call centre environment, providing crisis management (including advice, information and guidance) and onsite assessments for callers of the Mental Health Helpline. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team comprising of psychiatrists, mental health crisis nurses and counsellors. He/she will work very with other departments of the hospital including the IMH Emergency Services, Inpatient Wards and Outpatient clinics. The

Requirements

· Degree in Psychology or Counselling from an established university / Advanced Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
· Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience · Fresh graduates with positive learning attitude may also apply
· Able to work on rotating shifts
· Team player with a passion for patient-care and community support
