Occupational Therapist – Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) – Rotorua
Permanent, part‑time (up to 28 hours per week, negotiable, with possible full‑time options).
Role Overview
Based in Rotorua’s Children’s Health Hub, the role supports the iCAMHS team in Rotorua and provides support to the Southern Lakes iCAMHS team based in Taupo. The occupational therapist will assess and facilitate individual and group work for children, young people and their families, with special interests in sensory integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the delivery of effective clinical services ensuring quality care and a safe recovery journey across the care continuum.
- Provide community mental health care based on current best practice and collaborative working within the interdisciplinary team.
