Job Description
The Mental Health Technician (MHT), functioning under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Mental Health Clinician is responsible for the direct care of mental health patients based on established standards and licensure guidelines. The MHT is responsible for knowledge and modeling of Dayton Children's values through effective interaction with patients, families, and treatment team members while providing excellent care. The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is responsible for performing supportive, trauma-informed care to patients/families.
