Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) cost estimates from design drawings and specifications ensuring accuracy and competitive pricing.
- Conduct thorough value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
- Manage and track all project costs including variations, subcontractors and materials to maintain budget control.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly payment applications and invoices to clients.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential.
- Possess relevant professional certifications like MRICS or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in MEP quantity surveying within the construction industry, specifically.
