Metal Operative

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Metal Operative to join a well‑established company based in Bilston. The client specialises in galvanising steel, working primarily with fencing and metal products to prepare them for zinc coating, giving a durable metallic finish.

This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role suitable for candidates with factory or metal‑working experience.

Your Role

As a Metal Operative, your duties will include:

  • Preparing steel products for the galvanisation process
  • Loading steel onto jigs/hooks ready for zinc coating
  • Carrying out heavy manual handling tasks
  • Working with metal products within a factory environment
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
