Job Description
Develop and maintain documentation regarding product availabilities, customer specification flow down, and metallurgical practice requirements as well as quality requirements for purchased prime, hardeners, slab, and reroll.Advise Sales, Marketing or Customer Service of product availabilities, recommending full Trial & Availabilities reviews for non-standard products.Provide Technical Review of all Trial & Availability requests including leading the location in New Product Development.Advise Production Areas on process and inspection requirements necessary to meet customer product requirements.Collaborate with Production to develop new production for the location including supporting Production in trialing and qualifying new or modified purchased prime, hardeners, slab or reroll.Work to quickly contain non-conforming product and coach reports on customer notifications in the event of escape of non-conforming product.Coach and tr...
