Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as 2IC to the Head of Laboratory Services (Senior Microbiologist), supporting overall laboratory operations and management.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory processes, procedures, and storage conditions in compliance with required standards.
- Supervise, guide, and train junior microbiologists, ensuring proper execution of lab testing activities and adherence to SOPs.
- Perform Sterility Testing and Bioburden Testing, ensuring accurate results and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Ethylene Oxide (EO) Residual Testing (added advantage if experienced).
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 17025:2017 laboratory quality system to achieve and sustain laboratory accreditation.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and procedures for Interlaboratory (Interlab) Studies.
