Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist – NETE Weir Canada Inc., Weir Marine Engineering – Halifax, NS (alternatives: LaSalle, QC or Victoria, BC). Hybrid role available. Permanent, full‑time.
Purpose of Role Weir Marine Engineering (WME) requires a Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist to work with Windows Server, Directory Services, Azure cloud integration and related technologies in projects to develop, test and deliver complex IT solutions for current and future Royal Canadian Navy ships. The role involves investigating, analysing and performing hands‑on work with systems in test environments to produce architecture and detailed design. The specialist may conduct validation and pilot deployment after testing in production environments. No on‑call or user support responsibilities.
