St. Charles Catholic Classical School in Spokane, WA, is seeking a joyful, faith-filled, and intellectually inspiring Middle School Choir Director.
Position: Middle School Choir Director Grades 6-8 (part-time)
Position Overview
The Middle School Choir Director will lead and cultivate the Middle School choral program, a cherished part of school and parish life. Students share their vocal gifts at weekly school Masses, select Solemnity and Feast Day Masses, quarterly Sunday Masses for the parish, the annual Advent Prayer Service, and Spring Concert.
The ideal candidate will foster an understanding of sacred liturgy, a love for sacred hymns, Gregorian chant, classical music, and traditional Christmas carols while forming students in vocal technique, musical literacy, and aesthetic taste.
