Position Description:
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on various steel production and support equipment, including:
    Electric Arc Furnace
    Ladle Furnace
    Vacuum Degasser (VDG)
    Argon Oxygen Decarburizer (AOD)
    Billet caster
    Grinders and saws
    Annealing furnaces
    Diesel locomotives
    Overhead cranes

  • Install, maintain, and repair heavy industrial systems and components, such as bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, hoists, mobile equipment, fans, blowers, heat exchangers, and cooling towers.
