Located within the Limpopo and North West Provinces of South Africa with our Head Office based in Express Employment Professionals SA Head Office.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective communication for a conducive environment.
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, Codes of Practice, systems, and set practices.
- Examine travelling ways.
- Control water entering N/X holes.
- Ensure blasting legal compliance.
- Receive and control of explosives (including explosives).
- Blasting of transfer chute.
- Slinging of long material.
- Report and control of ore flow in the shaft ore pass system.
- Encourage a more engaged and proactive safety culture.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- 5 years experience as Onsetter/Banksman/Shaft Timberman.
- Onsetter certificate.
- Blasting certificate.
- First aid certificate.
