Mining Development Specialist – Timmins, Ontario (Discovery Silver)
Engage in mechanized cut and fill stoping and contribute to a protected mining setting as a Conventional Miner 2. The role includes mechanized cut and fill stoping, jumbo ramp development, and lateral development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all mechanized stoping operations
- Install ground supports to company standards
- Efficiently operate mechanized bolters
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Read and follow mining blueprints accurately
Requirements
- Minimum seven years of mining experience
- High School Diploma and Underground Common Core Certificate
- Extensive training in mining operations preferred
- Certification in multiple mining modules required
- Knowledge of effective safety protocols
