Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering or related qualification.
- Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 8 years mining experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent-level role.
- Experience within open-pit or underground mining operations.
- Strong knowledge of mining methods, production planning, and operational management.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and mining regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in mining software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee daily mining operations to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Coordinate mining activities in line with operational schedules and plans.
