+ Position Summary
+ Under general supervision, performs analytical procedures designed to aid physicians in diagnosing disease and monitoring current patient status. Under general direction, provides generalized and specialized professional laboratory skills in caring for neonatal through geriatric patients in the Laboratory and Blood Bank. Ensures all actions taken in carrying out responsibilities support patient centered care.

+ Performs clinical laboratory test procedures and reports results via computer terminals accurately and efficiently while screening for abnormal results and instrumentation malfunction.
+ Maintains the quality of laboratory instruments, equipment, and procedures.
+ Performs internal quality control on all test procedures.
