Job Description
The Mobility Platforms Engineer will contribute to the development of the Firm’s mobile strategy by researching and evaluating new technologies. The role-holder will be a member of the Interface team under the Firm’s Infrastructure area.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Firm's current and future enterprise mobile computing technology and infrastructure
- Act as the escalation point for issues arising from projects and Business as Usual (BAU) operations; ensure prompt resolution and appropriate communication with impacted parties
- Collaborate with other IT, security, and business areas to understand current mobility requirements and implement solutions that meet their needs
- Work with various device Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and software vendors to understand their strategies for providing enterprise mobility solutions
