KGET in Bakersfield is looking for a leader for our market-dominant morning show.
We are NBC, Nexstar and Market 125, about 100 miles north of Los Angeles. Our multiple-Emmy winning morning show is designed to have an appropriate mix of overnight hard news and features aimed at keeping the viewers' families happy and healthy.
+ This producer is the lynchpin of a team that provides the top-rated morning show in our market.
+ The newscast is 5 - 7 a.m.
+ KGET is the legacy No. 1 station in our market, and this show is one reason. Our 5 a.m. viewership is typically higher than the 5 p.m. of other stations.
