Summary This position serves as a Motor Vehicle Operator assigned to the Environmental Management Services at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, Reno Nevada, with responsibilities in support of vehicle transportation functions and general maintenance duties for the medical center. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to: Maintenance Duties: Operates hand tools, small power tools, and electric shop equipment, including drills, saws, staplers, sanders, band saws, and radial saws Assembles furniture and equipment Mounts pictures, bulletin boards, signage, and similar items Installs dispensers, baby changing stations, curtain tracks, and related fixtures Repairs laundry carts and other facility equipment Performs minor plumbing repairs Resets electrical breakers as needed Motor Vehicle Operator Duties: Transports supplies, equipment, materials, laundry, and personnel throughout the VASNHCS in Northern Nevada Health Care System locations, including sites in North...
