Movement & Sports Performance Scientist and Coordinator

Under the direct supervision of the Director, the following duties in the Motion Analysis Clinic for children and young adults include: Reviews patient referrals and manages laboratory scheduling; performs clinical movement evaluations and comprehensive sports-specific assessments; assists clinicians with physical exams, anthropometric measurements, and the placement of EMG and motion markers; assists in developing and maintaining standard lab guidelines and protocols; assists in the purchase of equipment and inventory control; performs daily calibration of Vicon motion capture, force plates, and metabolic systems; operates software to record, reconstruct, and label biomechanical data; participates in research and maintains the clinical database; prepares data processing, videography, and consultation for patients; and ensures the sterilization of medical devices and testing environments.
