- Position patients on the examining table and place specified coils, such as head or knee coils, close to the area of interest, following protocols requested by the Radiologist.
- Demonstrate the use of a microphone that allows communication between the patient and technologist during examinations.
- Enter data such as patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, orientation specified, and position of entry into the aperture of MRI equipment into the computer.
- Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into the computer.
- Observe patients through the window of the control room and on closed-circuit TV to monitor safety and comfort.
