**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Uses MRI scanner protocols based on needs of the individual patient and ordered examination
+ Screens patients prior to scan for any contraindications including implanted devices
+ Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan
+ Starts IV's and administers contrast agents
+ Evaluates images for technical quality
+ Maintains the cleanliness of the scanner and associated equipment in accordance with the infection control policies and procedures
+ MRI quality control, and documentation of necessary medical requirement
