Adventist Outpatient Imaging Services seeks to hire an experienced MRI Technologist for our Outpatient Imaging office in Silver Spring, MD who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As an MRI Tech you will:
• Demonstrates proficiency in operating MRI scanners and all ancillary equipment. Must be able assist in training new employees in their use. Properly identifies and performs MRI safety procedures on all patients including those with implantable devices.
• Understands principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast. Identifies contraindications to IV contrast administration and recognizes symptoms of IV contrast reactions.
