Job Description
Responsibilities
- Receive on-dock customer and supplier shipments.
- Create receiving advices in SAP including serial numbers as required and forward parts and paperwork accordingly.
- Load/unload trucks.
- Package and process outbound shipments to customers and suppliers in a time-sensitive environment.
- Inspect all product to ensure parts conform to paperwork and travelers.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of shipper/receiver experience in an aerospace or related manufacturing environment.
- Valid forklift license.
- Military packaging knowledge and Dangerous Goods Packaging Certificate (asset).
- Understanding of US/Canada customs regulations (desired).
- Knowledge/understanding of SAP.
- Proven problem solving skills and experience with lean manufacturing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
